The municipality of Las Terrenas is just over 30 years old. In the last 15 years, steady tourism growth has transformed it from a small coastal village into a lively town of more than 25,000 residents.
In the Town Center, you’ll find three large supermarkets offering national and international products, two private clinics, and internationally connected banks.
Its streets are lined with shopping plazas, service businesses, restaurants, and small local shops that preserve the town’s authentic character.
